A well-established organisation is seeking a temporary Payroll & HR Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across both payroll and HR within a busy environment. Your new role

As a Payroll & HR Assistant, you will provide administrative support to both the payroll and HR functions. Duties will include:

  • Assisting with payroll processing
  • Maintaining employee records
  • Supporting onboarding activities
  • Responding to employee queries
  • Ensuring compliance documentation is up-to-date
  • Carrying out general administrative tasks to support the wider team

This is a varied role that will provide exposure to all aspects of payroll and HR administration.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in payroll, HR administration or a similar support role
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational/ administration skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
  • Enhanced DBS desirable but not essential
