We’re looking for an experienced and passionate PBS Lead to join our Specialist Support Team and play a key role in embedding and developing Positive Behaviour Support across our residential and education services.
Our approach is grounded in positive outcomes, evidence-based practice and a commitment to enabling the people we support to live meaningful and more independent lives.
About the role
As PBS Lead, you’ll be a key source of specialist expertise across Bright Futures. You’ll provide advice, coaching, training, and practice leadership to help our teams understand the function of behaviour, identify what people need, and put effective, person-centred strategies into practice.

You’ll work closely with operational leaders and managers, using your knowledge of PBS, behavioural analysis, observation, data and Functional Behaviour Assessments to identify opportunities for improvement and turn them into practical, sustainable approaches that make a real difference.
You’ll be:
- Passionate about person-centred, evidence-based practice.
- Experienced in PBS and behavioural assessment, including Functional Behaviour Assessments.
- Confident analysing behaviour, data and environmental factors to understand why behaviour happens.
- Skilled at coaching, training and developing the confidence of others.
- Comfortable providing constructive challenge and influencing practice.
- Able to build strong relationships with operational and multidisciplinary teams.
- Highly organised, reflective and able to work with a high degree of professional autonomy.
- Committed to reducing restrictive practices and promoting choice, independence and quality of life.
