Job Title: Minicab Driver (School Transport Team)

About the Company

247 Airport Transfer is a London-based minicab company, providing professional transport services including:

  • Airport, port, and station transfers
  • Home-to-School transport for children with special educational needs (SEN)

We’re expanding our team in response to increasing demand from South East London and Dartford County Councils.


About the Role

We’re recruiting licensed minicab drivers to join our dedicated school transport team, responsible for safely transporting children to and from school during term time.

Key Details:

  • Location: South East London and Dartford areas
  • Schedule: Weekdays (mornings and afternoons, term-time only)
  • Earnings: £300–£600 per week from school runs alone
  • Additional Earnings: Available through extra school runs or airport/local jobs
  • Priority: School run drivers get first access to airport jobs

Responsibilities

Your primary tasks include:

  • Collaborating with a Passenger Assistant (where applicable) to ensure safe and friendly journeys for every child.
  • Maintaining strong communication with parents, schools, and the internal team.

Requirements

What we’re looking for:

  • You live in or near South East London or Dartford.
  • You are friendly, reliable, and professional.
  • You own your own vehicle (max 5 years old).
  • You hold a valid PCO Licence (Taxi and Private Hire Licence).
  • Your UK driving licence has no more than 6 points.
  • You have an enhanced DBS check (must be in-date).
  • Experience with school transport or SEN children is welcome but not essential.
  • MIDAS or NVQ in Road Passenger Transport is advantageous (training can be provided).
  • Willingness to undergo additional training (all paid except MIDAS).
