At Specialist Passenger Solutions (SPS) we are dedicated to providing the perfect journey. SPS was formed in 2016 and serves the passenger transport needs of the EDF Nuclear Project at Hinkley Point C (HPC) in Bridgwater, the largest construction project in Europe. We are the only transport provider for the thousands of people who go to the construction site daily to work or visit. We are now bringing this experience to Sizewell C in Suffolk, providing safe, reliable, and efficient transport for its workforce.

We’re looking for a PCV Vehicle Technician Supervisor
You’ll provide hands-on leadership across our workshop operation, ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards and are maintained to support the reliable service our passengers depend on every day.
Salary:
£32.51ph
Specific Hours:
Average 42hrs per week working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern. 12hr shifts, alternating 4 days (0630 – 1900) & 4 nights (1830 – 0700)
Key responsibilities
- Delivery of daily pre-shift brief, safety messages and Toolbox Talks
- Prioritising and effectively allocating both planned and unplanned work
- Monitoring the shift operation and supervising shift technicians
- Performing periodic vehicle inspection standard audits
- Ensuring housekeeping and cleanliness are maintained to high standards
- Demonstrating and championing high levels of safe working practices at all times
Key requirements
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 or C&G equivalent or above in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (PCV preferred)
- Supervisory experience
- Competent with IT
- Driving licence
