Location: Westbury
Salary: Up to £36,400 basic per year
Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:30, 40 hours per week

ISQ Recruitment is recruiting for a PDI Technician to join a well-established automotive business in Westbury. This is a great opportunity for someone with good practical vehicle knowledge who wants a stable Monday-to-Friday position within a professional workshop environment.
You do not necessarily need to be a fully qualified Vehicle Technician. Previous PDI Technician, Mechanic, Semi-Skilled Technician, Technician Improver or automotive workshop experience would all be relevant.
The Role
Working within the vehicle preparation team, you will be responsible for ensuring new vehicles are inspected, prepared and ready for customer handover.

Your Duties Will Include
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new vehicles
- Checking vehicles are prepared safely and to the required standard
- Identifying and reporting any faults or defects
- Completing basic mechanical and preparation work
- Fitting additional accessories or aftermarket equipment where required
- Following workshop procedures and manufacturer guidelines
- Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure vehicles are completed on schedule
What We're Looking For
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
- Previous automotive, mechanical or vehicle preparation experience
- A basic understanding of vehicle mechanics
- Good practical and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A reliable and positive approach to work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a workshop team
Previous PDI Technician experience would be beneficial but is not essential, and applications are welcomed from semi-skilled technicians and technician improvers looking to develop their automotive career.
