PDI Technician
Grimsby
£12.71 per hour
Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 4:00pm
Immediate Starts Available
We are currently seeking PDI Technicians to join a busy and expanding automotive operation in Grimsby. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with an interest in vehicles and the automotive industry. Previous experience is beneficial, but full training will be provided for the right candidates.
The Role
As a PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are prepared to the highest standards before they are delivered to customers. Working as part of a professional team, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
- Checking vehicle functions, systems and equipment are operating correctly
- Inspecting vehicles for any cosmetic damage or defects
- Completing quality control checks to ensure vehicles meet company standards
- Fitting accessories and carrying out minor adjustments where required
- Maintaining accurate inspection records and documentation
- Supporting the preparation of vehicles for dispatch and customer handover
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently

Requirements
- Must be aged 21 or over
- Hold a full UK driving licence for a minimum of 2 years
- Have no more than 6 penalty points on your licence
- Previous automotive, vehicle preparation, PDI or mechanical experience is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Reliable with a positive and proactive attitude
- Willingness to learn and undertake training
