Job Title: PDP Football Insights Analyst

Location: Cobham Training Ground
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Chelsea Football Club is looking for a PDP Football Insights Analyst to support the development of our Under-21 and Under-19 players. Working within the Football Insights & Intelligence team, you will deliver personalised video analysis, performance insights and learning experiences that enhance player development, inform coaching practice and support key player pathway decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individual player reviews and personalised video feedback to support development.
  • Analyse training sessions and matches, providing pre-match, live and post-match insights.
  • Support Individual Development Plans through objective and actionable performance analysis.
  • Track and monitor player progress against agreed development objectives.
  • Collaborate with coaches, analysts and multidisciplinary staff to enhance learning and performance.
  • Contribute to player reviews, pathway discussions and departmental projects.
  • Support innovation through the effective use of analysis technology, data and digital learning tools.

Skills, Experience & Qualifications

We're looking for a passionate football analyst with strong technical knowledge and the ability to turn performance information into meaningful learning opportunities for players.

  • Strong understanding of elite football and player development.
  • Excellent video analysis, presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to translate video and data into clear, actionable insights.
  • Experience delivering feedback in one-to-one and small group environments.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using elite video analysis software and reporting tools.
  • Confident working both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • A proactive, innovative approach with a commitment to continuous improvement.
