Investment Associate – European Infrastructure

Language: Fluent German or Spanish

Introduction

A well-established international investment firm is looking to appoint an Investment Associate to its European investment team in London. The firm invests across essential infrastructure and infrastructure-related businesses, with a long-term approach to investing across developed markets.

As the European platform continues to grow, the team is looking for an Associate with fluent-level German or Spanish who can support investment activity across Continental Europe. The opportunity offers broad exposure across the investment lifecycle within a relatively lean, collaborative team.

The Role

The Associate will work closely with senior investment professionals across the sourcing, evaluation, execution and management of investments. The position offers meaningful responsibility from an early stage, including direct exposure to investment decision-making, management teams, advisers and portfolio companies.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
