PE Specialist and Wraparound Care Lead
📍 Location: Manchester
💷 Salary: Up to £13 per hour
🕘 Hours: Monday to Friday, 12:00pm to 6:00pm (up to 35 hours per week during term time) – School holiday work available

The Role:
As one of our PE Specialist and Wraparound Care Leads, you’ll deliver engaging PE lessons within Primary Schools while also leading the operations of an after-school club provision. You’ll inspire children through sport and physical activity, whilst ensuring a safe, engaging, and compliant childcare environment after the school day.

You’ll have the opportunity to:
- Deliver high quality PE lessons that inspire participation and enjoyment.
- Lead engaging physical activity sessions that encourage children to develop confidence and skills.
- Manage lunchtime and after-school sports club.
- Lead the daily operation of wraparound care provision.
- Create a positive and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.
- Build strong relationships with children, parents, schools, and the wider LSC team.

What We’re Looking For:
We’re looking for someone who brings energy, positivity and a passion for sport, education, and childcare.
Essential
- Level 2 National Governing Body Coaching Qualification (or equivalent sports coaching qualification)
- At least 2 years’ experience delivering PE lessons within UK primary schools.
- Experience leading or supporting wraparound care, childcare, or extended school provision.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to motivate, inspire, and lead a team.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to obtain one.

Desirable
- Degree in Physical Education, Sports Coaching, or a related subject.
- Current First Aid and Safeguarding qualifications.
- Knowledge of Ofsted requirements and childcare compliance.
- Experience managing team within educational or childcare settings.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
