PE Teacher (QTS)
Location: Swindon area
Salary: £150 - £300 per day, depending on the role | Weekly PAYE pay
Start Date: September 2026

Connex Education is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated PE Teachers to join secondary schools across Swindon and the surrounding areas from September 2026. Whether you're an experienced teacher or an ECT ready to begin your career, we have a range of flexible long-term and short-term opportunities available.
From delivering engaging practical lessons to encouraging participation and confidence in sport, you'll play a vital role in helping students develop their physical skills, resilience, and enjoyment of physical education.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons across KS3 and KS4.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation from all students.
- Promote teamwork, resilience, and healthy lifestyles through a variety of sporting activities.
- Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to support student progress and achievement.
- Ensure a safe learning environment by maintaining high standards of behaviour and adhering to health and safety procedures.

Person Specification
- QTS preferred, although strong secondary PE teaching experience will also be considered.
- Passion for Physical Education and inspiring young people to lead active, healthy lifestyles.

- Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
