Are you passionate about sports and dedicated to developing the next generation of athletes? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our department to deliver BTEC Sport. Whether you are a qualified teacher or a highly experienced sports coach, this is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise and inspire students in an academic and practical environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and high-quality BTEC Sport lessons to students.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic achievement.
  • Manage classroom and sports hall environments to ensure a safe, inclusive, and effective learning experience.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to students, helping them reach their full potential in both theoretical and practical sport components.
  • Collaborate with department staff to refine curriculum delivery and maintain high standards of teaching.

Qualifications

  • Strong background in sports coaching or teaching, with a focus on BTEC Sport certifications.
  • Ideally, a qualified teacher status, though we welcome applications from experienced sports coaches with a proven track record of working with youth.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead diverse groups of students.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to fostering a positive sports culture within the school.
  • Ability to translate complex sports theory into accessible material for students of varying skill levels.
