Main Responsibilities
- To plan, organise and coach Games afternoon lessons and co-curricular activities under the guidance of the Director of Sport.
- Support class teachers in the delivery of core PE and Games, preparing resources, setting up sessions and working with smaller support groups where necessary.
- Maintain PE and update sport display boards.
- Maintain match kits and sports equipment weekly.
- Maintain and update ECS PE social media accounts on a weekly basis.
- To lead one age group team within the school. (U12 – U15) per term.
- To liaise with the Heads of Sport on team selection.
- To publish the team and important information via the school sports website.
- To write a weekly match report for the teams that you coach.
- To act as a support coach to all other school team squads during timetabled games lessons and co-curricular sessions.
- Play a key role running lunchtime co-curricular sessions.
- To officiate school fixtures as required.
- To produce logs of GCSE and A Level compulsory morning sessions and team training and report absence to the Director of Sport.
- Liaise with team captains to collate weekly match reports

General Responsibilities
- To help with the general day to day running of the department.
- To liaise with parents as necessary regarding pupils performance and behaviour under the guidance of department teachers.
- To be willing to attend Sports Tours during school holiday periods.
- To coach/teach other co-curricular sporting activities where required.
- Core Hours – Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm
Saturday – 8.30pm to 12.30pm
Other
- To be aware of and abide by all the School’s policies, in particular safeguarding.
- To assist at school functions and with co-curricular activities.
- To carry out timetabled responsibilities as assigned in the School Timetable.
- To perform such other duties as may be required by the Principal.
