Role Summary
The International Qualifications Trainer for Pearson Edexcel International Qualifications in Bangladesh plays a pivotal role in delivering comprehensive, qualification-based training courses to adult delegates. Pre-Event Preparation
- Attend in-house briefings provided by Pearson as needed, to gain a thorough understanding of the courses and supporting materials.
- Participate in training sessions designed to build the technical skills necessary for effective online event delivery.
- Engage in practice with training resources to ensure complete confidence and competence in their use.
Delivery of Training Sessions
- Ensure all session objectives are fully achieved during the training event.
- Present information in a manner that is appropriate for both the participants and the training environment.
- Respond to customer queries during training professionally and appropriately.
- Manage personal time and make necessary travel arrangements with the support of Pearson.
- Conduct training sessions in strict accordance with guidelines set by both the regulator and Pearson.
Feedback and Evaluation
- Complete and submit a summary feedback form for each session delivered.
Experience and Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience teaching Pearson Edexcel International Specifications.
- Background in delivering effective training to adult participants.
- Comprehensive understanding of qualification and assessment principles.
- Strong subject knowledge relevant to the training content.
- Experience in teaching, administration, assessment, or management within the subject and level required.
- Excellent presentation and communication abilities.
- Capacity to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with laptops, internet usage, and Microsoft PowerPoint, as well as experience using technology to enhance training delivery.
- Ability to support the development of a wide range of teaching professionals with diverse perspectives.
- Open and positive approach to all forms of feedback.
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
- Professional representation of Pearson, adhering to the company’s contractual terms and conditions during training sessions.
- Delivery of training using materials prepared by Pearson’s team of qualification-based writers, maintaining consistency with Pearson’s and the regulator’s quality standards.

Knowledge Requirements
- Understanding of relevant qualification and assessment principles.
- Strong subject knowledge.
- Expertise in training principles and practices.
- Have had experience teaching Pearson International GCSE and/or International A Level Specifications.
- Examining experience of Pearson International GCSE and/or International A Level Specifications is desirable.
