1122 Learning Environment

1122 is a learning environment designed to develop builders who can turn ideas and unfamiliar problems into real solutions. Rather than focusing on traditional courses or predefined job preparation, learners at 1122 work through authentic challenges that require problem understanding, tool selection, solution building, testing, and defending decisions. AI is integrated as a supportive element, encouraging deep understanding instead of shortcuts. The journey begins with Sahara, an intensive selection experience, followed by a Common Core emphasizing computing fundamentals, systems thinking, programming, algorithms, software engineering, AI-assisted building, collaboration, and complex projects. Learners then specialize through real-world projects, peer learning, project defense, iteration, and independent research, grounded in the belief that each person is capable of building far more than they think.

Pedagogy Assistant

3-Month Volunteer Opportunity | 1122

1122 is looking for volunteers to join the team for three months as Pedagogy Assistants. What You Will Do

As a Pedagogy Assistant, you will:

  • Support students in understanding project objectives, rules, and learning expectations.
  • Help students navigate the 1122 learning methodology without directly giving them solutions.
  • Encourage students to research, experiment, collaborate, and solve problems independently.
  • Support students during the Sahara 21-day selection program.
  • Be present in the 1122 Virtual Campus and observe how students interact with projects and peers.

  • Help monitor student engagement and participation.
  • Support peer-to-peer learning and peer evaluation practices.
  • Help maintain a healthy learning environment based on autonomy, curiosity, experimentation, and responsibility.
  • Participate in testing new projects, exercises, or learning activities before they are released.
  • Help review project instructions from a student perspective and report unclear points.
  • Assist with collecting structured feedback about the learning experience.
  • Support onboarding sessions, project introductions, and learning-related events when needed.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
