Peer Support Co-Ordinator

We are recruiting 4 Peer Support Co-Ordinators to provide borough-wide peer support leadership across our four London boroughs of Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge, and Waltham Forest, with a mix of full-time and part-time opportunities. Working predominantly within community and inpatient clinical teams, these roles will use lived experience and advanced peer support skills to support and mentor Peer Support Workers, strengthen integration within clinical services, contribute to training and workforce development, and provide peer-informed leadership, guidance, and support across each borough.

These are four separate vacancies, and candidates should apply separately for each borough they wish to be considered for.

Role Description

The Peer Support Co-Ordinator (Havering) provides Peer Support leadership, co-ordination, and senior peer support within our Community Mental Health services. The role bridges frontline peer support delivery and peer workforce leadership, ensuring Peer Support Workers (PSWs) are well supported, safely practicing, and effectively integrated into community services.

The post holder will use lived experience, advanced peer support skills, and developing leadership capability to:

  • Support and mentor PSWs across the borough
  • Act as a key link between PSWs, clinical leads, and the PSW leadership team
  • Support training delivery, Peer Support Worker forums, and borough-wide events
  • Provide peer-informed input into complex situations where additional lived experience expertise is required

This role does not hold formal line management responsibility but provides day-to-day professional leadership, supervision, mentoring, and support.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
