Pega Automation Tester – Job Description

6 months initially, extendable
Experience
5+ years overall QA/testing, with strong Pega experience
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and execute automated test scripts for Pega applications.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, system and end-to-end testing.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Selenium / Java or equivalent automation tools.
- Test Pega workflows, case management, rules, integrations, APIs and UI components.
- Work closely with Pega developers, architects, business analysts and QA teams.
- Analyse requirements and create detailed test scenarios, test cases and test scripts.
- Execute automated and manual tests and investigate failures.
- Perform API testing using tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
- Validate integrations between Pega and external systems.
- Participate in CI/CD pipelines and integrate automated tests into DevOps processes.
- Identify, document and track defects using tools such as Jira, ALM or Azure DevOps.
- Support SIT, UAT, regression and production validation activities.
- Ensure test coverage across Pega applications and business processes.

Essential Skills
- Strong hands-on experience in Pega testing / Pega QA.
- Experience with Pega applications and Pega workflows.
- Strong test automation experience.
- Selenium WebDriver.
- Java or another automation programming language.
- API testing / REST / SOAP.
- SQL and database validation.
- Regression and end-to-end testing.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Defect management and test management tools.
- Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps.

- Pega CSA / CSSA certification.
- Experience with Pega Platform / Pega Infinity.
- Pega Customer Service / Customer Decision Hub / Case Management experience.
- Experience with Pega Test Automation / Pega Unit.
- Jenkins, Git, Maven and Azure DevOps.
- Cucumber / BDD.
- Experience testing complex enterprise integrations.
