Job Description: Pega CSSA (Certified Senior System Architect)
Job Title: Pega CSSA Developer
Location: UK / Hybrid
Experience: 5+ Years
Employment Type: Contract [3 months]
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) to design, develop, and implement scalable business process management solutions using the Pega platform. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality applications that meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Pega applications and workflows.
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Build case management, decisioning, integrations, and user interface components using Pega best practices.
- Configure and customize business rules, flows, activities, data pages, and integrations.
- Perform unit testing, defect resolution, and support SIT/UAT activities.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Architects, and QA teams.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards.
- Provide production support and application maintenance when required.
- Contribute to performance optimization and application scalability.

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Pega development.
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
- Strong experience with:
- Case Management
- Decision Rules
- Data Pages
- Integrations (SOAP/REST Services)
- UI Development
- Reports and Dashboards
- Pega Best Practices and Guardrails
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Knowledge of Java, SQL, and Web Technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience in Financial Services, Banking, Insurance, or Public Sector projects.
- Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Pega Infinity.
Certifications
- Mandatory: Pega CSSA Certification
- Preferred: CSA, CPDC
