Role: Pega Developer (CSSA)
Job Type: Contract
Location: Telford, UK (Hybrid)
Job Description:
This role will support fix-forward activities across a large-scale Pega transformation programme, focusing on Pega application development, workflow configuration, defect resolution and Agile delivery. You will work closely with Serco and Akkodis delivery teams to deliver prioritized backlog items, support controlled releases and ensure solutions comply with Pega guardrails and best practices.
Required Skills:
- 8+ years of IT and software development experience.
- 6+ years of hands-on Pega development experience.
- Strong experience in Pega application configuration and development.
- Expertise in Case Management, Case Lifecycle and Workflow Development.
- Strong experience in defect investigation, troubleshooting and resolution.
- Experience with unit testing, peer reviews and application quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of Pega guardrails and best-practice development.
- Experience supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Strong Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- Experience with Pega integrations and services.
- Experience working within controlled release and change management environments.
- Strong collaboration skills with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Architects and development teams.
- UK Public Sector programme experience is desirable.
