We are looking for experienced SC Cleared Pega Developers to support the modernisation and migration of legacy workflow applications to the Pega platform.
The role will involve analysing existing legacy applications, workflows, forms, business rules and integrations and translating them into modern Pega case management solutions. Pega GenAI Blueprint will be used to accelerate application discovery, design and build.
Candidates must already hold active SC clearance, which must be successfully borrowed to the customer environment before starting the engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse existing legacy workflow applications to understand business processes, rules, forms, integrations and data dependencies.
- Translate legacy applications and processes into appropriate Pega case management solutions.
- Use Pega GenAI Blueprint to accelerate the definition of case types, personas, stages, workflows and application designs.
- Refine Blueprint-generated designs into production-ready Pega solutions.
- Design and configure case types, stages, processes, views, data models, business rules and validations.
- Develop applications using Pega App Studio and Dev Studio.
- Build and configure REST/SOAP integrations, connectors and data pages to integrate with external and legacy systems.
- Work with business and technical stakeholders to validate migrated functionality and requirements.
- Support migration, testing, defect resolution and deployment activities.
- Follow Pega development standards, guardrails and engineering best practices.
- Support application releases using Pega Deployment Manager and/or Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Produce appropriate technical and application documentation.

Technical Skills:
- Strong hands-on Pega development experience.
- Strong knowledge of Pega case management, including case types, stages, processes and workflows.
- Hands-on experience with Pega App Studio and Dev Studio.
- Experience designing and implementing Pega data models, data pages and business rules.
- Strong experience with REST/SOAP integrations and connectors.
- Experience with Pega GenAI Blueprint, including translating business processes into case types, personas and workflow structures.
- Ability to analyse and understand legacy workflow applications, business rules, forms and integrations and translate them into Pega solutions.
- Experience with Pega application packaging, deployment and release management.
- Knowledge of Pega Deployment Manager and/or Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- Good understanding of Pega guardrails, security and development best practices.

Desired Skills:
- Previous experience migrating legacy workflow or BPM applications to Pega.
- Experience modernising complex enterprise applications.
- Pega certification such as Certified Pega Senior System Architect (CSSA).
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams.
- Experience working in complex enterprise or public-sector environments.
- Active UK SC clearance is mandatory.
Candidates must already hold valid SC clearance. The clearance must be capable of being borrowed to the customer environment and confirmed before commencing the engagement.
