Pega DevOps Architect
We are seeking an experienced Pega DevOps Architect to lead release readiness, operational acceptance testing (OAT), deployment strategy, and cutover activities for a large-scale Pega transformation programme. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Pega DevOps, CI/CD automation, environment management, release governance, and production deployment assurance.
The role will be responsible for establishing deployment guardrails, ensuring operational readiness, defining rollback strategies, and supporting successful releases while maintaining service stability across multiple programmes and environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Work Package 4 (WP4), owning release readiness, OAT planning, cutover execution, and rollback strategy.
- Develop and maintain release readiness dashboards, OAT evidence plans, and evidence-gap assessments.
- Assess deployment processes, monitoring capabilities, rollback mechanisms, and environment strategies.
- Design, document, and rehearse cutover plans, including reconciliation activities, command structures, escalation paths, and rollback triggers.
- Prepare and manage Go/No-Go governance packs for production releases.
- Define and implement deployment pathways for hotfixes, BAU changes, and major releases to protect live service operations.
- Collaborate with delivery, infrastructure, operations, and business teams to ensure deployment readiness and risk mitigation.
- Establish best practices for CI/CD pipeline management, automated deployments, and release governance.

Required Skills & Experience
- 13+ years of IT experience with 8+ years in Pega DevOps and Release Management.
- Strong experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines in enterprise environments.
- Expertise in release strategy, deployment governance, and environment management.

- Production Monitoring & Observability

- Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical applications and platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
