Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements
- Lead discovery, DCO/JAD sessions, and stakeholder workshops to elicit business needs.
- Decompose business outcomes into epics, features, and INVEST-grade user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Define case types, stages/steps, data model, personas, channels, and journey maps.
- Document “as-is” and “to-be” processes; create process flows, UI mockups/wireframes, and decision tables/trees.
Solutioning & Governance
- Collaborate with LSA/SSA to ensure requirements are feasible, scalable, and guardrail-compliant.
- Maintain product backlog, prioritize with Product Owner, and ensure traceability from requirements to test cases.
- Support creation of MVP scope, release roadmap, and non-functional requirements (NFRs: performance, security, audit, accessibility).

Agile Delivery
- Drive sprint ceremonies (backlog refinement, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives).
- Validate builds against acceptance criteria; support UAT planning, execution, and sign-off.
- Manage change requests, impact assessments, and stakeholder communication.
Data, Integration & Compliance
- Work with architects on integration needs (REST/SOAP, MQ/Kafka), data contracts, and mapping.
- Define reporting/analytics needs (reports, dashboards), audit/compliance, and retention policies.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory standards relevant to the domain (e.g., BFSI/Public Sector/Healthcare).

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–9+ years as a BA, with 3–5+ years on Pega 8.x programs.
- Strong hands-on with DCO, user story writing, acceptance criteria, and backlog management (Jira/Azure DevOps).
- Solid understanding of Pega concepts: case lifecycle design, stages/steps, routing, SLAs, data pages, decision rules, UI flows, and reporting at a conceptual level.
- Experience crafting process maps (BPMN), journey maps, and UI mockups (e.g., Figma/Balsamiq).
- Proven stakeholder management; ability to translate business goals into measurable outcomes/KPIs.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and facilitation skills.
