Job Title: Pega Lead Decisioning Architect

Location: Fully remote/must be UK based

Salary/Rate: £600 per day inside IR35

Start Date: Immediate

Job Type: Contract initially until 18/09 to be extended

Company Introduction

We have an exciting opportunity now available with one of our sector-leading consultancy clients! They are currently looking for a skilled Pega Lead Decisioning Architect to join their team for an initial contract until 18th September.

Job Responsibilities/Objectives

  • Lead the architecture, design and implementation of enterprise-scale Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH) solutions.
  • Define decisioning strategies, customer engagement frameworks and Next-Best-Action approaches.
  • Establish best practices for real-time decisioning, customer journeys and omnichannel engagement.
  • Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture, security and data governance standards.
  • Provide technical leadership throughout the project lifecycle, from discovery and design through to production deployment.
  • Design and implement Next-Best-Action strategies, Customer Engagement Policies, Adaptive Models, Predictive Models and Customer Journey Orchestration.
  • Drive the adoption of Pega AI and emerging Agentic AI capabilities within decisioning solutions.
  • Lead architecture workshops and technical design sessions with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Lead architecture reviews and governance activities.
  • Provide technical direction, coaching and mentoring to Pega development and delivery teams.
  • Define scalable, reusable and maintainable decisioning frameworks and architectural patterns.
  • Collaborate with data, analytics, CRM and engineering teams to ensure effective integration of decisioning capabilities across the technology landscape.

Required Skills/Experience

The ideal candidate will have the following:

  • Extensive experience designing and delivering solutions using Pega Customer Decision Hub (CDH).
  • Proven experience working as a Pega Lead Decisioning Architect, Decisioning Architect or equivalent senior Pega architecture role.
  • Strong expertise in Next-Best-Action Designer, Adaptive Decisioning and Predictive Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of customer decisioning, customer engagement strategies and omnichannel personalisation.
  • Experience delivering enterprise-scale decisioning programmes.
  • Strong understanding of CRM, CDP, REST APIs, cloud architecture and data governance.
  • Experience integrating Pega decisioning with enterprise data platforms and other business-critical systems.
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management, customer acquisition, retention and loyalty.
  • Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical architectures.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience providing technical leadership across large transformation programmes.
