Job Description: Pega LSA (Lead System Architect)
Job Title: Pega Lead System Architect (LSA)
Location: UK / Hybrid
Experience: 10+ Years
Employment Type: Contract [3 months]
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Pega Lead System Architect (LSA) to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise-scale Pega solutions. The ideal candidate will act as a technical leader, guiding development teams and ensuring that solutions align with Pega best practices and organizational architecture standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture and design of enterprise Pega applications.
- Define solution architecture, integration strategy, and technical roadmaps.
- Provide technical leadership to Pega development teams.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and design governance.
- Ensure applications comply with Pega guardrails and industry best practices.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Design complex integrations with external systems using APIs, SOAP, REST, MQ, and database technologies.
- Guide performance tuning, security implementation, and scalability planning.
- Support project estimations, technical planning, and risk management.
- Mentor CSSA/SSA developers and establish development standards.

Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of IT experience with at least 7+ years in Pega.
- Pega Lead System Architect (CLSA/LSA) Certification.
- Extensive experience with:
- Pega Infinity Platform
- Enterprise Application Architecture
- Case Management and Workflow Automation
- Pega Decisioning
- Pega Customer Service
- Integration Frameworks (REST, SOAP, MQ)
- Performance Tuning and Security
- DevOps and CI/CD Practices
- Strong understanding of scalable and distributed systems architecture.
- Experience leading large-scale digital transformation projects.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Preferred Skills
- Experience within UK Public Sector, Banking, Financial Services, or Insurance domains.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with Kafka, Microservices Architecture, and Containerization.
Certifications
- Mandatory: Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA/LSA)
- Preferred: CSSA, CDH, CPDC Certifications
