Are you a Pega Systems Professional looking for a new role?
Sopra Steria are currently recruiting for a Pega Senior Systems Architect to join a growing team within our financial services operations. This is a pivotal role within a part of the organisation that is evolving following an internal restructure and comes with the opportunity to build on an existing expertise in Pega Systems. You will be given room to grow with further learning and development of your knowledge of the platform top of the agenda. So, if you are well versed in the design and development of Pega applications then this one may be for you!
This role would be home-based with occasional travel to one of our hubs.
Due to the potentially sensitive nature of assigned projects, we are only able to progress with candidates eligible for SC clearance.
What you’ll be doing:
- Lead the design and development of Pega applications
- Ensure solutions follow Pega best practices and guardrails
- Support solution architecture, integration design, and quality assurance
- Mentor junior developers and guide delivery teams
- Contribute to user story refinement and technical planning

What you’ll bring:
- CSSA certification
- Hands‑on Pega experience at Senior Developer SSA level
- Strong understanding of Pega architecture, integrations, and performance tools
- Experience guiding teams and supporting technical decision‑making
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Ability to shape requirements into scalable, out‑of‑the‑box Pega solutions
It would be great if you had:
- Financial services experience
