Pega System Architect - SC Cleared
Location: Fully Remote/UK based
Employment Type: Contract - until 31st December 2026 initially
Day Rate: £700 per day inside IR35
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Pega Senior System Architect (SSA) responsible for designing and delivering high-quality Pega applications, working closely with business stakeholders, Lead System Architects, Business Architects and delivery teams.
This role is ideal for a technically strong Pega professional who is passionate about delivering scalable enterprise solutions and mentoring development teams while working in a collaborative remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop enterprise-scale applications using the Pega Platform.
- Collaborate with Lead System Architects to define solution architecture and technical designs.
- Build case management, workflow, integration and user interface components using Pega best practices.
- Develop reusable assets and implementation patterns.
- Configure integrations using REST, SOAP and messaging technologies.
- Support application testing, deployment and production releases.
- Perform code reviews and mentor junior developers.
- Ensure compliance with security, performance and governance standards.

Required Skills and Experience
- Strong hands-on experience delivering applications using the Pega Platform.
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) certification.
- Experience with Case Management, Data Modelling, Decisioning and Integrations.
- Strong understanding of Pega Constellation and modern UX approaches.
- Experience with REST APIs, web services and enterprise integration patterns.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) – essential.
- Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) – desirable.
