About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Penetration Tester to join an established Offensive Security team. You will help organisations identify and reduce cyber security risk through high-quality penetration testing, security assessments and practical consultancy.
Working across a diverse range of clients and sectors, you will test modern applications, infrastructure and cloud environments, clearly communicate the risks identified and support customers with effective remediation.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys technical problem-solving, ethical hacking and continuous learning, and who is ready to take greater ownership of client engagements while continuing to develop alongside experienced offensive security professionals.
What you'll be doing
- Deliver infrastructure, web application, API, cloud and external penetration testing engagements.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and security reviews across customer environments.
- Simulate realistic attack scenarios to identify security weaknesses, attack paths and business risk.
- Produce clear, accurate technical reports with supporting evidence and practical remediation guidance.
- Communicate findings to customers and support them through remediation activities.
- Manage assigned engagements professionally, including planning, delivery and stakeholder communication.
- Contribute to the improvement of testing methodologies, tooling and service quality.
- Keep up to date with emerging vulnerabilities, attack techniques and offensive security trends.
- Support research, knowledge sharing and technical innovation within the team.

What we're looking for
You will be passionate about offensive security and have practical experience delivering penetration testing engagements in a professional or consultancy environment.
You will combine strong technical analysis with clear written and verbal communication, taking pride in producing high-quality work and positive outcomes for customers. You should be comfortable working independently on defined engagements while knowing when to seek guidance or collaborate with colleagues.
Experience and certifications
- CREST Registered Tester (CRT), CHECK Team Member (CTM) or an equivalent industry-recognised certification.
- Offensive Security certification such as OSCP, OSWE, OSEP or OSED, or comparable practical experience.
- Experience testing one or more of the following: infrastructure, web applications, APIs or cloud environments.
- Strong understanding of common vulnerabilities, attack methodologies and remediation approaches.
- Experience producing professional penetration testing reports for customers.
- Strong written English, technical analysis and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate technical findings clearly and manage customer interactions professionally.
