💼 Permanent | Full-Time
We’re recruiting for an experienced Penetration Tester / Offensive Security Consultant to join a growing cyber security business delivering accredited penetration testing services to organisations across the UK.
This is a hands-on technical role for someone with strong experience across application and infrastructure penetration testing, who can identify vulnerabilities, clearly communicate risk and provide practical remediation advice.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for delivering penetration testing engagements across a range of technologies and environments, working directly with clients from initial scoping through to final reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive application and infrastructure penetration testing
- Performing vulnerability assessments and recommending remediation actions
- Producing clear technical and non-technical client reports
- Supporting client scoping and pre-engagement activities
- Managing penetration testing engagements within agreed deadlines
- Supporting quality assurance to maintain a high standard of client delivery

What We’re Looking For
You’ll need:
- Proven commercial experience in application and infrastructure penetration testing
- CTM status
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environments
- Strong Active Directory knowledge
- Understanding of wireless technologies
- Experience with OWASP, PTES and penetration testing methodologies
- Good understanding of networks, operating systems and virtualisation
- Scripting or programming capability
- Relevant cyber security qualifications such as OSCP, CEH or GPEN
