Do you have a keen eye for detail and strive for excellence? We have a great opportunity within our pensions administration team!

As a Pensions Administrator, you will be joining an experienced and dedicated team who are focused on supporting our client to provide the best possible experience to all their Scheme Members. If you are a highly motivated individual with passion and desire to contribute to the positive reputation of our business, we would love to hear from you!

We are looking for individuals interested in developing a career in pensions, who are willing to learn and grow. You will be supported by the Team Leaders and Managers from day one, becoming an integral member of the team and encouraged to develop your skills and knowledge, including our support for taking professional qualifications if you wish. We put the wellbeing of our people at the heart of what we do, and therefore flexibility of work key for us.

We offer hybrid working, typically up to two days per week in the office. Ideally, candidates will be based near our Newcastle or Newport (Wales) Centres of Excellence, though we’re open to considering strong candidates from other locations on a one-day-per-month office basis at these locations.

What you will be doing:

  • Producing and checking calculations of member’s benefits using automated calculation routines.
  • Preparing and checking standard explanatory letters.
  • Resolving pension related queries for our customer by phone, live chat and email working with other teams in a timely manner - delighting our customer, escalating complex cases or complaints to a senior administrator or SME as appropriate.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of our pension administration records, currently based on the Compendia administration system.
  • Managing pension contribution adjustments including agreeing and administering recovery plans.
  • Collating, analysing data and preparing reports that are presented to senior team members.
  • Working with the payroll team and Client’s reward team as required.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
