We are currently partnering with a leading educational body based in Birmingham, who are recruiting for a Pensions Administrator to join their team on a temporary basis at least until the end of August.
This is a full-time position that’s due to start as soon as possible, so will only be suitable for candidates who are immediately available. There is hybrid working with office presence required 1-2 days per week.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Preparing and submitting accurate monthly pension returns for the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) and Teachers' Pension Scheme
- Collating, validating, and combining pension data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and compliance with scheme requirements
- Processing pension submissions including new starters, leavers, changes in employment, and retirement information
- Investigating and resolving discrepancies in pension data before submission to minimise errors and delays
- Responding to pension-related enquiries from employees, pension providers and internal stakeholders, providing clear and accurate guidance

Experience required:
- Experience with both Local Government Pension Scheme and Teachers Pension
- Experience working within a local authority or educational body is desirable
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- Intermediate Excel skills (VLOOKUPs & Pivot Tables) desirable
