Our Client

Mackie Myers is partnering with a leading UK housing association to recruit a Pension Manager on a 15-month maternity cover contract. This is an excellent opportunity to join a purpose-led organisation with a strong reputation and outstanding benefits.

The Role

Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting & Control, you'll act as the pensions subject matter expert, overseeing multiple DB and DC pension arrangements. You'll work closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, trustees and external advisers to ensure effective governance, compliance and pension administration.

The Successful Candidate

  • Strong knowledge of UK pension schemes, including DB and DC arrangements.
  • Experience managing multiple pension schemes within a complex organisation.
  • Proven ability to work with trustees, professional advisers and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of pensions legislation, governance and compliance.
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and build effective working relationships.
  • APMI qualification (or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
