About the Role
At Haleon, our ambition is to offer progressive and market competitive Employee Benefits, including Pensions, so that we can be industry leading in health & wellbeing, enabling employees to thrive.
As a new, standalone organisation, Haleon has inherited a rich and complex set of legacy retirement plans across approximately 45 countries. This Pension Manager role is an exciting opportunity to be part of our Global Pension transformation, and to support the Global Head of Pensions to shape how Haleon governs, oversees and monitors these arrangements.
In this role you will be the subject matter expert for our UK and Irish pension plans. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our pension policies and processes as well as managing complex pension issues or risks. You will partner closely with our Benefits, Global Reward Delivery and People Solutions teams, as well as HR and Reward Business Partners.
You will also participate in Global Pensions transformation projects and work alongside Haleon’s Reward Business Partners on pension-related projects across Europe, Middle East and Africa and APAC.
The role will also work closely with the Executive Reward and Global Mobility teams to support the Executive and International Assignee populations.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
