Pensions Administrator | Darlington | Hybrid Working

  • Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 DOE, plus annual bonus potential
  • Location: Darlington (DL1), free parking!
  • Hybrid working
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm

The Role

As a Senior Pensions Administrator, you'll play a key role in delivering high-quality administration services for Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes, ensuring members and clients receive a professional and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Calculating pension benefits and member entitlements accurately
  • Responding to queries from members, trustees and other stakeholders
  • Preparing pension documentation and correspondence
  • Maintaining accurate member records and ensuring compliance with procedures
  • Supporting the delivery of a high-quality pension administration service
  • Contributing to process improvements and sharing best practice within the team

About You

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in a Senior Pensions Administration role
  • Ideally, experience administering Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes or a strong understanding of Defined Benefit pension arrangements
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong numerical skills
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service

Professional pension qualifications (or working towards them) would be advantageous but are not essential.
