Pensions Administrator
Salary: from £25,758 to £32,000 (subject to experience and relevant qualifications)
Benefits:

You’ll combine pensions administration with customer service, using your numerical and analytical skills to calculate and process benefits, resolve queries, and make sure members receive clear, accurate information. Just as importantly, you’ll have the opportunity to broaden your experience across the Pensions Service Centre and build a specialist career in pensions.

About The Role
- Calculate and process pension benefits accurately in line with pension scheme rules and overriding legislation.
- Answer member queries (via our Helpline) explain pension entitlements clearly and professionally.
- Deliver work to agreed service, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Work collaboratively across service areas and support changing business needs.
- Spot opportunities to improve how we work and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Build your technical knowledge and take ownership of your development.

About You
What we're looking for
You don’t have to come from a traditional pensions background. We’re looking for people who are customer-focused, organised, numerate, and curious, with the confidence to learn and solve problems.
- Strong maths, numeracy, and analytical skills.
- Advanced experience in Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- A professional approach to customer service.
- Strong organisation and the ability to work to demanding deadlines.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Confidence using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- A flexible, collaborative mindset and willingness to learn.
