What You Will Be Doing

In this role, you will support the delivery of governance, audit, and risk management activities by:

  • Coordinating Trustee Board and committee meetings, including preparing agendas, meeting papers, minutes, and action trackers.
  • Supporting the Audit and Risk Management Committee to ensure governance responsibilities are delivered effectively and on time.
  • Maintaining governance documentation, committee Terms of Reference, and business plans.
  • Preparing reports and updates for Trustee committees and senior stakeholders.
  • Supporting Trustee onboarding and maintaining induction materials.
  • Assisting with the preparation of the annual report and accounts.

  • Contributing to Own Risk Assessment reviews and the ongoing development of the Plan’s Effective System of Governance.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders, external advisers, and Trustee Directors to ensure governance activities run smoothly.
  • Supporting adviser management, budget tracking, cyber assessments, data governance, and other governance-related initiatives.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
