AJ Chambers are working with a top-tier law firm renowned for its excellent culture, strong career development opportunities, and commitment to its people. They are looking for a Pensions Associate to join its growing team in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for join a excellent pensions team to join a highly regarded team, work on high-quality matters, and benefit from genuine opportunities for progression within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting partners and senior lawyers across a broad range of pensions and life assurance matters, including advisory, transactional and regulatory work.
  • Advising trustee and employer clients on day-to-day pension and life assurance scheme matters, including governance, benefit structures and regulatory compliance.
  • Assisting with pensions aspects of corporate transactions, including due diligence, risk assessment and drafting pensions-related documentation.
  • Drafting and reviewing scheme documentation, member communications and legal advice notes.
  • Conducting legal research and monitoring developments in pensions legislation, case law and regulatory requirements.
  • Participating in client meetings and contributing to the delivery of practical, commercially focused and client-centric solutions.
  • Supporting business development initiatives, including preparing pitches, client materials and contributing to thought leadership.

  • Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with up to 3 year's PQE
  • Strong technical and analytical skills with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent drafting and communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues and clients
  • Commitment to professional development and a genuine interest in pensions law
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn within a specialist area of law
  • Collaborative team player aligned with the firm’s values
