Pensions Client Project Manager
We’re partnering with a UK leading pensions consultancy and are looking to appoint a Client Manager to join their growing Data Journey team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients, lead on high-profile data projects, and play a key role in shaping the future of pension scheme data. This position is aligned to their Birmingham office, and operates a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
About the opportunity:
As a Pensions Project Client Manager, you’ll take ownership of a portfolio of data journey clients, leading the delivery of essential pensions data projects while ensuring exceptional client service and commercial success.

You’ll act as trusted adviser to clients, overseeing project delivery from inception to completion, working collaboratively with internal teams, and helping to drive business growth.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing and developing strong client relationships
- Leading the delivery of pensions data projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance
- Managing project scope, budgets, timeline, and profitability
- Acting as the key point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Identifying opportunities to expand services and support business development
- Providing technical guidance on complex DB pension projects

What we’re looking for:
- Strong technical knowledge of defined benefits schemes
- Experience delivering complex projects such as GMP equalisation and insurer transactions
- Proven client relationship and stakeholder management skills
- Strong commercial awareness and project management experience
We’re particularly interested in speaking with individuals who have a strong UK pensions administration, consulting, or project delivery background and are looking to take the next step in their career.
