Help strengthen our Configuration Pension Implementation Team, we are currently looking for Pension Consultants to join our homebased team.

Pensions Implementation Consultant (Configuration)
Job Description
We are now looking for Implementation Consultants to join our team to ensure all aspects of a transition and change project are delivered on time and to a high standard within a controlled project environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Gathering and interpreting client requirements and processes, and translating these into system solutions
- Managing system configuration activities and quality
- Delivering calculation automation
- Leading client implementation projects
- Facilitating internal and external system training, and provide appropriate documentation
- Troubleshooting and resolving client queries and issues
- Mentoring and coaching Implementation Analysts
- Conducting system configuration and testing quality control activities
- Supporting the technical development of our technology platforms through participation in analysis and design, and specification production for new and/or enhanced developments
- Undertaking system configuration and checking
- Undertaking data analysis activities and checking
- Undertaking project management activities including risk and issue identification and mitigation
What We’re Looking For
- Able to lead on projects and experience of managing/mentoring a team
- UK Pension background: detailed understanding and ability to explain the difference between DB, DC, CARE and Annuities, how they are administered and a full understanding of system & process implications
- Is able to explain:
- pension member records and their set up
- the relationships between members, Trustees, schemes, actuaries, funds and investments
- different types of Pension Schemes
- different types of member status' and applicable calculations for each
- Describe the regulatory bodies and their roles in this sector
- Demonstrate knowledge of system set up and use of parameters
- Able to demonstrate capability and knowledge of pension/employee benefit technology platforms
- Strong MS Excel skills, able to draft an automated excel calculator with basic formula; ability to use filters, sorting, pivot tables (rows, columns, grouping, filters and totalling), lookups, control totals, IF and nested IF statements and formatting of cells to specific guidelines
- Good MS Access
- Ability to understand requirements and able to produce specifications
