Our client, a well-established public service organisation, is currently recruiting a Pensions Lead to join their Pension administration team for a 12-month FTC.
The Pensions Lead will be responsible to help lead and manage the collaborated pension function across multiple locations to ensure that an effective professional service is provided to all employees, stakeholders and that all regulatory requirements are executed in a timely and accurate manner.
Key Responsibilities for the Pensions Lead:
- Manage and oversee the collaborated Pension function reporting to the Operations Manager working closely with key stakeholders and partners internally and externally
- Act as the technical lead on all matters relating to pensions and responsible for providing advice and resolving queries
- Drive continuous improvement within the pension function and ensure that all complaints and issues are resolved at the lowest level possible, in a timely manner
- Lead complex pension related projects to drive improvement and fulfil legislative/regulatory requirements
- Understand and be responsible for the management of demand into the pension and payroll administration function for example queries relating to policy, procedures and processes
- Lead the resolution of complex issues relating to retirement, ill health, transfers and other applicable employee lifecycle matters.

Skills Required for the Pensions Lead:

- Experience of managing pension operations and administration
- Public Sector experience is highly advantageous
- Hands on experience of managing and delivering pension related activities and projects
- Happy to undergo pre-employment checks and vetting
- Strong communication skills
