Are you a pensions expert who enjoys getting stuck into complex cases and making things genuinely work better? Ready to take ownership of your specialism while supporting people who’ve dedicated years of service?

You’ll join a fast-growing, UK-wide team supporting MET Police staff, where there’s real pace, change and opportunity to shape how things are done. It’s a collaborative environment where your expertise won’t just be valued – it’ll make an impact. From delivering high-quality pension casework to guiding others and driving improvements, you’ll play a key role in raising standards. You’ll have the space to take ownership, get involved in project work and build your profile as a specialist in a team that’s still evolving.

What you'll be doing:

  • Handling complex pension queries and delivering accurate, compliant casework to tight deadlines.
  • Completing and quality-checking pension and payroll calculations to ensure everything is right first time.
  • Acting as a go-to for technical questions, supporting and upskilling colleagues.
  • Working closely with pension administrators, payroll teams and client stakeholders.
  • Analysing and maintaining pension data, ensuring systems stay accurate and reliable.
  • Sharing insights and updates to keep stakeholders informed and confident in delivery.

What you’ll bring:

  • Solid experience in pension administration.
  • Confidence carrying out complex pension calculations.
  • Strong understanding of pension legislation and how to apply it.
  • Ability to break down technical information for non-specialists.
  • Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.

It would be great if you had:

  • Knowledge of Police or Civil Service Pension Schemes.
  • Experience working with payroll or payroll processes.
  • A relevant pension or payroll qualification.
  • Understanding of how HR and payroll systems work together.
