Pensions Transitions Specialist – Outsourcing Line of Business
About the Role
Join Wildlife & Thornton(WTW) as a Pensions Transitions Specialist within our Outsourcing business unit.
This role focuses on delivering new installations for pension administration services, spanning all project phases—from initiation and sales to completion. You will serve as the key administration contact, supporting transitions with expertise in final salary pensions, and must coordinate tasks across multiple workstreams while simplifying complex technical issues for clients and third-party administrators.
You’ll need strong knowledge of pension administration, including money purchase schemes, and the ability to driven process improvements, mentor colleagues, and build cross-team relationships for operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Support client transition projects:
- Attend regular client meetings, transition calls, and liaise with third-party administrators as required.
- Ensure all transition activities are delivered on time, adhering to performance standards and service-level agreements.

Process and documentation:
- Establish, document, and refine administration procedures and client controls.
- Challenge and improve existing processes to enhance efficiency and reduce costs (e.g., automation, standardisation).

Assistance and training:
- Provide internal and external guidance on technical and administrative queries.
- Coach, mentor, and drive colleague skill development through training programmes.

Cross-functional collaboration:
- Strengthen relationships across Outsourcing teams (onshore/offshore) and WTW’s other business areas.
- Work closely with the Transitions Team Manager to optimise operations.

- Maintain a professional, client-focused culture to reflect WTW’s brand values.
- Ensure all client and member service needs are met efficiently.
