Role Description
The Pentester and Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in the London Area, United Kingdom. The analyst is responsible for monitoring security alerts, investigating potential threats, and escalating incidents according to defined procedures. Day-to-day activities include reviewing logs and SIEM dashboards, performing initial triage, documenting findings, and supporting incident response actions. The role involves working closely with security engineers and compliance teams to maintain monitoring rules, refine playbooks, and contribute to continuous improvement of Axipro’s security posture. The SOC Analyst also helps prepare reports and metrics, ensuring that clients and internal stakeholders have clear visibility into security events and mitigation actions.

- Strong skills in security monitoring and analysis, including experience with SIEM platforms, log analysis, and alert triage.
- Knowledge of key security and compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, HIPAA, GDPR, and PCI DSS, with the ability to apply them in operational environments.
- Understanding of network and endpoint security concepts, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, EDR tools, vulnerability management, and basic incident response procedures.
- Ability to document incidents clearly, create reports, and communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, SSCP, or equivalent practical experience in a SOC or security operations role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, structured environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, or comparable professional experience.
- Willingness to work in an on-site team setting in the London Area and participate in shift-based coverage as needed.
