College location: East Surrey College (3 days), John Ruskin College (1 day) & Study Leave (1 day)

Salary: £18,167 - £22,880.00

Hours: 8:45 am - 5 pm

Interviews: Thursday 22nd October

We're looking for a People Administration Apprentice to join our friendly and supportive People Team. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a busy HR environment while working towards a CIPD Level 3 qualification, providing the perfect foundation for a successful career in HR and people management.

Responsibilities

As a People Administration Apprentice, you'll support the People Team while gaining valuable experience across a wide range of HR activities, including:

  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding and ER processes
  • Maintaining employee records and updating HR systems
  • Responding to staff queries professionally in a timely manner
  • Assisting with meetings, HR documentation and employee administration
  • Monitoring absence, annual leave and employee records
  • Working alongside experienced HR professionals to develop your knowledge and skills in Human Resources.
  • Work towards completing the relevant apprenticeship qualification, adhering to deadlines and completing within the designated timeframe.

The ideal candidate will have GCSE English and Maths at Grade 4/C or above (or an equivalent Level 2 qualification), together with a genuine interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources. They will be enthusiastic, eager to learn, and committed to developing the knowledge, skills and experience required to succeed in a professional HR environment.
