Key Responsibilities:
🌱 People & Culture:
- Act as a trusted HR Advisor, providing advice and support to employees and managers across the employee lifecycle.
- Build strong relationships across the business, helping to maintain our inclusive, engaged and high-performing culture.
- Lead and support employee relations matters, providing pragmatic and empathetic guidance on workplace issues.
- Drive initiatives that enhance employee engagement, wellbeing and belonging.
- Support organisational change initiatives, ensuring people impacts are considered and managed effectively.
- Use employee feedback and people insights to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and enhanced employee experience.

📋 Policies, Compliance & HR Operations:
- Develop, review and maintain HR policies, protocols and guidance, ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practice.
- Ensure consistent application of company policies and people processes across the business.
- Support performance management, absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation whilst ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes and implement scalable solutions that support business growth.
- Monitor and report on key people metrics, helping inform business decisions and workforce planning.
🤝 Leadership Support:
- Partner with managers and leaders to provide practical HR advice and coaching on people matters.
- Support leaders in managing performance, development, engagement and employee relations issues.
- Help equip managers with the tools, guidance and confidence needed to lead effective and engaged teams.
- Identify leadership and capability development needs across the business, sourcing and coordinating appropriate external training providers, workshops and learning opportunities.
- Support the design and delivery of manager development initiatives, ensuring leaders have access to relevant resources, best practice guidance and ongoing development opportunities.
🧩 Skills and Approaches:
- Strong HR knowledge and practical experience, with a solid understanding of employment law, HR best practice, and employee relations processes.
- Experience independently managing performance management processes, coaching managers through performance concerns, supporting difficult conversations, and ensuring fair and consistent outcomes.
- An excellent communicator, naturally skilled at building rapport, influencing stakeholders, and finding solutions through conversation.
- Approachable and discreet, with sound judgment and a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and consistency.
- A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for ways to enhance policies, processes, and the overall employee experience.
- Culture-minded, with a strong understanding of how an inclusive, engaged and values-led workplace drives collaboration, innovation, retention and organisational success.
