An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious People Advisor to join a high-performing operational People Team.

Reporting to the People Partner, you will provide practical HR advice and support to managers and colleagues, managing employee relations cases and ensuring HR processes are applied consistently and in line with policy and employment law.

You will be a trusted advisor, helping managers build confidence and capability across areas including absence, performance, conduct, and engagement. You will also support wider people initiatives, employee lifecycle processes, and business transformation.

  • Provide clear, pragmatic HR and employee relations advice.
  • Coach managers on absence, performance, conduct, and people matters.
  • Manage and maintain accurate employee relations records and case documentation.
  • Support employee engagement and local people initiatives.
  • Monitor HR data, trends, and compliance requirements.
  • Escalate complex or high-risk cases appropriately.
  • Work collaboratively with wider HR and specialist teams.
  • Support effective employee lifecycle processes.

What we're looking for

  • HR advisory, employee relations, or generalist HR experience.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
  • Experience coaching and supporting line managers.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail.
  • Ability to interpret HR data and identify practical solutions.
  • Collaborative and commercially minded approach.
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 desirable but not essential.
