This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR professional to join a supportive People team and play a key role in delivering high-quality HR services across a diverse workforce. Your new role

As a People Advisor, you will provide operational HR support across the business, partnering with managers to deliver effective people solutions and best practice guidance. You will manage a varied caseload of employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, performance management, absence management and long-term sickness cases. You will also support organisational change initiatives, recruitment activities, policy implementation and continuous improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Advising managers on a full range of employee relations matters up to dismissal and appeal stage.
  • Managing HR casework and maintaining accurate records within the HR system.
  • Supporting recruitment campaigns, shortlisting, interviews and onboarding activities.
  • Providing guidance on employment legislation, policies, pay and benefits.
  • Supporting change management activity, including consultation, redeployment and redundancy processes.
  • Producing and analysing HR data and reports to support decision-making.
  • Contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Building strong stakeholder relationships and coaching managers on people management best practice.

What You'll Need To Succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience in a generalist HR Advisory position with strong employee relations knowledge. You will be confident supporting managers with complex people issues and have a sound understanding of UK employment law. You will also have:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing a broad range of employee relations cases.
  • Previous recruitment and selection experience.
  • Experience coaching and influencing managers.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Experience using HR systems and producing HR reports.
  • A collaborative, customer-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
