Interim People Advisor – Change & Integration
Reporting into: People Partner
Based at London Stansted Airport
Secondment / Fixed term contract until 30th April 2027
Band 4 - c. £46k
Hybrid working - 3 days in office

The role
In this People Advisor role, you will support a People Partner to establish the new Stansted Change & Integration function and embed the integrated operating model. You will coordinate day-to-day people activity across the function and prioritise transformation programmes, helping to ensure effective implementation and a smooth transition into business as usual.

Accountabilities
· Support the People Partner to establish the new Change & Integration function, coordinating the practical People activity needed to implement agreed roles, structures, accountabilities and ways of working. · Prepare and maintain organisation charts, role profiles, workforce data, people impact assessments, trackers, implementation plans and supporting documentation for the integrated STN operating model. · Provide practical people support to priority transformation programmes, ensuring people impacts, dependencies and risks are captured, progressed and escalated appropriately. · Coordinate organisational change activity, including meetings, letters, consultation materials, records, action tracking and liaison with relevant People teams and stakeholders. · Support clear and timely engagement, communications and consultation with leaders, managers, colleagues and Trade Union representatives. · Provide first-line advice on routine organisational change and employee relations matters, referring complex, strategic or higher-risk issues to the People Partner · Document processes, responsibilities, hand-offs and agreed ways of working between the Change & Integration function, operational teams, the STN People team and relevant Group functions. · Develop practical tools, templates, guidance and handover materials to support an effective transition of agreed activity into business as usual.
What will make you successful in the role?
· Strong HR generalist or People advisory experience. · Sound knowledge of UK employment law, People policies and employee relations processes. · Experience supporting organisational change, restructures, workforce transition or operating model implementation. Strong knowledge around change programme best practise. · Experience producing accurate role, workforce, consultation and implementation documentation. · Ability to manage competing priorities with strong attention to detail. · Confidence advising on routine People and change matters and escalating higher-risk issues. · Experience working with programme teams, leaders, People colleagues and Trade Union representatives. · Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills. · Collaborative, pragmatic and delivery-focused, with flexibility and resilience. · CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
