We are seeking an experienced People Advisor to deliver employee relations advice and support during an exciting period of business change and growth. The purpose of this role is to support the business with an effective, customer commercially focused people advisory service.

Who you’ll be working with

What you will do?

Provide both pro-active and re-active expert advice, solutions, coaching and support to managers and colleagues on a range of generalist, more complex people matters across the colleague life cycle.

  • Providing proactive, consistent and commercially focused advice and coaching support to develop manager capability, drive a culture of high performance and encourage colleague engagement and wellbeing
  • Case management to drive the resolution of performance, probation, attendance, disciplinary and grievance issues, ranging from informal discussions, to formal investigations, formal hearings and appeal stages

  • Advising the business and supporting People Business Partners on the design and end to end implementation of change programmes
  • Supporting managers to deal with, or when particularly sensitive sometimes directly manage, complex and long term absence cases
  • Involvement in resolving more complex queries (e.g. benefits, maternity, absence or policy related) which are escalated from the DAC Beachcroft shared services HR Service Desk
  • Providing guidance around the Flex Forward approach to working and managing the formal flexible working application process
  • Supporting the People Advisory Manager and other People Team colleagues with relevant queries, project improvement work in support of the CSG strategic plan, including engagement, well-being and Inclusion and Diversity plan activities
  • Supporting the development and maintenance of people policies, to ensure continued relevancy, as well as legislative and regulatory compliance
  • Embedding and demonstrating the culture and values of CSG, whilst encouraging colleagues to be accountable to do the same

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
