Location: London EC4M
Hybrid: Office 3 days a week
Reporting to: People Business Partner

As part of the UK HR team, you will provide warm, practical, and trusted HR support across the business. Working closely with line managers and employees, you will help resolve day-to-day people matters, support the consistent application of policy, and make HR processes feel clear and accessible. You will coordinate cyclical People activities, support key HR initiatives, and maintain accurate people data, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, carefully, and on time. With sound judgement, strong organization, and clear communication, you will help build line manager confidence, support inclusive ways of working, and contribute to a positive employee experience. You will work collaboratively with the wider People team helping to deliver a reliable and supportive HR service.

Key Role Requirements

  • Minimum CIPD Level 3 qualified
  • Provide clear, balanced, and people-centered HR advice to managers, supporting consistent, compliant, and fair handling of people matters in line with policy.
  • Coordinate and deliver People activities, making sure processes are followed, documentation is accurate, and communications are timely, helpful, and easy to understand.
  • Manage a range of employee relations cases with care and professionalism, including early fact-finding and information gathering, escalating more complex matters.
  • Support case work for medical declarations, sickness absence, occupational health referrals, and PHI applications, ensuring colleagues and managers understand the process and next steps.
  • Interpret and explain HR policies, procedures, company requirements, and employment-related guidance in a straightforward, practical way for managers and employees.
  • Prepare concise HR reports, data, and insights for assigned areas, helping identify themes, updates, and actions that support informed decision-making.
  • Work with managers and HR colleagues to resolve matters through good practice, sound judgement, and consistent governance.
  • Build line manager confidence by offering practical guidance, coaching on process steps, and reinforcing inclusive, effective ways of working.
  • Prepare Peakon engagement reporting for assigned areas, supporting insight, follow-up actions, and ongoing conversations about engagement and wellbeing.
  • Promote inclusion, engagement, and wellbeing by ensuring activities, communications, and processes are thoughtful, accessible, and respectful.
  • Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement, bringing curiosity, attention to detail, and a supportive approach to improving the employee experience.
  • Support effective communication by helping shape and share people updates for team meetings, manager briefings, and divisional communications.
