Help shape a newly created People Advisory team at one of the UK's leading cultural organisations.

We're looking for an experienced people professional to lead employee relations, manager support and people advisory services across the Royal Shakespeare Company.

This newly created role offers a rare opportunity to design and develop a high-quality People Advisory team that supports managers to handle people matters with confidence, consistency and care. You'll lead complex employee relations work, guide organisational change, influence policy and practice, and help drive a more proactive and preventative approach to people management.

Working closely with senior leaders, People Partners, trade union representatives and employee voice groups, you'll use your expertise and insight to strengthen manager capability, improve organisational practice and support a positive employee experience across the organisation. If you're looking for a role where you can combine technical expertise, leadership and organisational influence, we'd love to hear from you.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading complex and high-risk employee relations matters, ensuring fair, consistent and legally robust outcomes.
  • Managing and developing the People Advisory team, creating a trusted, high-quality advisory service.
  • Providing expert advice, guidance and constructive challenge to managers, People colleagues and senior leaders.
  • Leading the people aspects of organisational change, including restructures, redundancies and TUPE activity.
  • Using insight from casework, employee feedback and people data to improve policy, practice and organisational learning.
  • Building positive relationships with trade unions, employee networks and key stakeholders.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
