A bit about the role …

The People & Culture Administrator provides essential administrative and coordination support across the People function. This role ensures HR processes are completed accurately and on time, supports recruitment and onboarding activity, maintains high-quality data in BambooHR, and helps deliver a positive experience for all colleagues.

As our People & Culture Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for routine HR queries, ensuring colleagues receive friendly, efficient and values aligned support.

What you will be responsible for…

  • Maintain accurate employee records in BambooHR, ensuring all changes, documents and lifecycle events are processed promptly.
  • Post job adverts and support candidate attraction activities for all professional roles.
  • Manage interview scheduling, communication and logistics.
  • Conduct right to work checks and collect pre employment documentation.
  • Support hiring managers and the People and Culture Advisor to create a consistent, professional candidate experience.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process including paperwork, BambooHR system set-up and induction scheduling.
  • Support managers and colleagues with day to day queries related to policies, holidays, absence and general HR processes.
  • Track probation reviews, training completion and other time sensitive tasks, prompting managers where required.
  • Assist with note-taking for meetings when requested.
  • Maintain and organise digital HR files according to compliance standards.
  • Ensure mandatory documents (e.g. right to work, training certifications) are collected and recorded.
  • Support the coordination of engagement activities, events, celebrations and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Help administer surveys and collate feedback for the People and Culture Advisor/Head of People and Culture.
  • Work collaboratively with the People and Culture Advisor/ Head of People and Culture to ensure efficient delivery of the People function.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline administrative processes.
  • Provide flexible support during busy periods or project work.
  • Champion Connolly’s values in day-to-day interactions.

What we’d like from you…

  • Previous experience in HR administration.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident with systems, data entry and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Clear, friendly communicator able to support colleagues professionally.
  • Proactive, reliable and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
  • Discreet and trustworthy with sensitive information.
  • CIPD Level 3 (completed or working towards)
  • Positive, values-driven and committed to delivering a great colleague experience.
